From I-44: Take St. James EXIT 195, go EAST on Hwy 8 through town for 5.5 miles. Turn into drive past PARV sign. Come to office back of house. From Potosi on Hwy 8: Follow Hey 8 through Steelvill, stay on Hey 8 for 13 miles past Maramec Spring Park. Turn into drive before sign. Come to office back of house.
SETTING: Mature trees provide shade for quiet, friendly small RV park in the beautiful Foothills of the Ozarks. Near year-round trout fishing at Maramer Spring Park, 2 miles; on historic Trail of Tears; and Route 66, 4 miles. Adjoins 2500+ acres of Woodson K. Woods Conservation for hiking and bow hunting.
RV: Year-round Sites: Ten 50-30 Amp FHU gravel back-in sites; Seasonal Sites- Seven Seasonal 50/30 Amp FHU gravel back-in sites; Six 30 Amp FHU back-in gravel sites; Three 30Amp/Water/Dump back-in sites; Two 20 Amp primitive tent sites. All sites have patio, picnic table, fire pit. Dump station available.
SVC: April through 2’d weekend of Nov, Shower House and Rest rooms are open. Nov through March self-contained camping on year-round sites. Because we are not near cell/satellite towers there limited Wi-Fi and TV. DirecTV is available with your own DirecTV receiver. Due to heavy tree coverage personal satellite service not guaranteed. Fire wood and Ice for sale. Near: Meramec River access, 3 miles; several kayak/canoe outfitters for floats on Courtois, Huzzah and Meramec Rivers; 5 wineries and a craft brewery; Onondaga Cave; Cuba-City of Murals; Kaintuck Hollow and Clifty Creek Natural Arches;
St. James Golf Course.
